Welcome to Queer Nineteen!
Queer Nineteen is a volunteer-run resource for nineteenth-century resources on gender and sexuality.
The long nineteenth century (1794-1914) is a rich period with an abundance of queer stories to uncover! We welcome book reviews, short articles, and biographies of queer and trans individuals from the long nineteenth century across all disciplines.
If you are interested in contributing, please send your submission to queernineteen@gmail.com along with your pronouns and any social media links you wish to include.
Submissions should be no more than 2,000 words and (if citations are required) referenced in MLA style.
